Copying Trades Across Multiple Tradovate Accounts Made Easy

Hey friends, if you’ve ever wanted to copy a trade from one Tradovate account to several others, you’re in the right place! Today, we’re diving into how you can do just that. Imagine having a master account and wanting to replicate trades into multiple sub-accounts. I’ll walk you through the process step by step.Master and sub accounts setup

Getting Started with PickMyTrade

First things first, head over to PickMyTrade and log in. Once you’re in, you’ll need to add your Tradovate accounts. For example, my admin account is labeled as demo 3491458, and I want to copy trades to demo 291396.Adding accounts in PickMyTrade

Here’s a nifty feature: you can set a quantity multiplier. If you put ‘2’, your trade amount doubles. But for now, we’re keeping it at ‘1’ to keep the amounts the same across accounts.

Setting Up Your Accounts

When setting this up, ensure all the accounts are connected with your Tradovate account. Share their PickMyTrade token and the account names for seamless copying. Simply add your master account, input the token and account name of another account, and hit save. Voila! Your accounts are now ready.Account setup completion

Executing Market Orders

Now, let’s place a market order. When you execute a buy market order, you’ll see it reflected across all your accounts. The same goes for a sell market order. It’s that straightforward!Market order execution

Each account can have different quantity multipliers. For instance, one might be set at ‘1’ while another is at ‘2’.

Trying Limit Orders and More

Next up, limit orders. Suppose you set a limit order at 67,800; it’ll be mirrored in all accounts. Modify it, and changes apply everywhere. Cancel it, and it’s canceled everywhere. Easy peasy!Limit order setup

This also works with OCO orders. Place a buy or sell order, add your take profit and stop loss, and hit send. Even if the trade copier is in a suspended state, once active, the order is placed across all accounts.OCO order placement

Wrapping It Up

And there you have it! This setup works perfectly with market, limit, and OCO orders. If you’re interested in automating your trades further, check out the Automated Trading Algo Trading Platform in USA – Algo Trading Software – PickMyTrade for more insights and strategies.
